Acadia National Park Camping:

Acadia National Park offers two wooded campgrounds. Both of which are in walking distance of the ocean. . Blackwoods Campgrounds, and Seawall Campground. There are additional camping facilities outside the park. See below for info about both park campgrounds.

When can I camp at Blackwoods Campground?

Blackwoods Campground is open all year round.

How many sites does the campground have?

The campground offers over 300 sites. There are no hookups or facilities.

Should I make a reservation?

Yes, Reservations are required May 1 to October 31.see. Visit the National Park camping page for more information about reservations.

Are there showers available?

Yes, showers are available nearby for a small fee.

How much does it cost to camp?

  • $20 per night, per site (fees vary in the off season)
  • Group camping (organized groups of 15 campers) - $50 per night

Is there transportation to and from the campground?

Yes, the Island Explorer Shuttle Bus offers this service to both Blackwoods, and Seawall Campgrounds.
